Haven't had much chance to use it yet, just cut a couple of small logs so far but it feels good to handle. The manual's start-up instructions are incorrect and confusing, here is how to actually start it up: 1. push chain bake forward to activate the safety 2. switch on the toggle switch 3. pull out choke all the way 4. pull cord JUST ONCE in a steady pull, don't jerk it. Pull it any more than once with the choke out and it will flood the engine. 5. push choke back in completely 6. pull cord a few times until it starts and after it's run for a few seconds, give it some full throttle and away you go. 7. remember to disengage chain brake before cutting. |

Reasonably easy to assemble and operate. Runs smoothly and cuts 15" OD logs efficiently. The Saw Chain did stretch a little but this is to be expected, adjustment to correct Chain tension is a simple task.

Cheap and cheerful. Does the job well but "a bit rough round the edges". Would have scored 5/5 if the chain-saw file hadn't broken in half when I took it from it's pack but later I discovered that it was the wrong size anyway!

heavier than more expensive chainsaws but then it is only £100. Cuts through up to 17" logs in one go. Easy enough to handle, but did'nt like the way the chain break is attached, it seemed a bit flimsy however it does work okay. It's a good saw for the money and it has already paid for itself in wood for the log burner.

The product starts runs and performs well. I have since purchasing studied the web site and catalogue and no where does it state that the saw is self assembly this is thoughtless at the least and at the worst smacks of sharp practice. Please in the future advertise with honesty.Iam a returning customer but feel let down on this point and would think very carefully about buying anything in the future.
