First fit the extra wide safety stabilisers, then adjust the ladder to one of 9 different lockable positions, finally attach the unique safety hand rail in position to provide that extra support and re-assurance that no other ladder of this type provides. 

Changing ladder position takes just a few seconds using the quick-release locking hinges and fitting or removing the safety rail takes a little under a minute due to its unique patented design, so changing ladder and rail positions, or even popping the ladder into the boot of the car, is both fast and simple. There’s even a sturdy, quick-fit 6ft 4” (193cm) long x 1ft (30.5cm) wide non-slip platform supplied as standard.  It can take loads up to 150kg (23 ½ stone), is European quality approved and is guaranteed for 10 years.

FAQs

Q: How can I be sure the hinges are “locked” in any position?
A: When the hinge levers are flat to the ladder stile, the word "locked” will appear in the hinge window. When you flip the hinge lever up to unlock, you will hear a “click” and the word “unlocked” will appear in the hinge window

Q: After I worked with the ladder for a short time I was able to put the ladder into more than the 9 different positions illustrated in the instructions. Why do you ply mention 9 positions?
A: Only the 9 positions illustrated are approved under the strict EN131 European Standard and are guaranteed to take the safe maximum loading of 150Kg. Using the ladder in any other position or without first fitting the ladder stabilisers is done at your own risk and not covered by the guarantee

Q: Can I use the ladder without fitting the extra safety handrail?
A: Yes. The handrail is there as an additional safety feature and your guarantee are valid whether you use the handrail or not. This DOES NOT apply to the two ladder stabilisers that MUST be fitted regardless and should the ladder be used without these fitted, your guarantee will be void as the ladder will not then comply with the EN131 safety standard

all went well apart from the fact that it took some 12 days or so to arrive rather than the 3 to 5 stated in the web site. however I was not urgently needing it so no harm done the ladder seems to be ok , well engineered and promises to be very useful in getting to awkward places

complete product could have been improved by providing aluminium platforms instead of the ply wood. I felt this cheapened the overall look of the product. Having said that the ply wood platforms do the job. [T2 Direct: Thank you for your comment. We have included aluminium platforms with previous models but we feel the current platforms are much more slip-resistant, especially in wet conditions.]
