Product Information
Description
Holding and operating a chainsaw requires two hands so using a conventional saw horse means you have to put the chainsaw down after each cut just to move the branch along to cut the next log. “Log-It” locks and holds your chainsaw in position on the sturdy 10.5kg galvanised steel frame, effectively taking all the weight of the machine, but at the same time, allowing you pivot the chainsaw down using just one hand to saw through and log branches.
There’s also a 45cm (17 ¾”) long metal safety guard that protects you from the saw chain, an adjustable and lockable length guide if you want to cut uniform lengths of wood, and four wide circular feet for extra stability.
“Log-It” has been designed to take wood up to a maximum diameter of just under 8” (20cm) in diameter and a maximum of just under 6ft (1.8m) in length.
This ingenious but extremely practical and time-saving solution for logging wood comes fully assembled with the exception of fitting the pivot clamp and length guide which takes approximately five minutes to fit. Virtually all designs and makes of chainsaws can be used. For complete safety we don’t recommend using chainsaws with a bar length greater than 46cm (18”). When not in use, “Log-It” folds flat for storage.

A very useful piece of kit, maybe a little fragile for the heavy handed but with proper use should give years of service.- Its easy to move around and to stabalise so can be moved to where the logs need to be cut. The delivery was very surprising - delivered on a Saturday morning when I did not think it would get to me by the following Monday, well done. |

I had a big pile of logs that I expected to take me two weeks to cut to length. The job was done in two days with no back ache. The cut is very clean and square and all the logs are all the same length. This is also so much safer than using the saw freehand. Brilliant! |

| This saw horse is ideal for those people not too experienced in using a chain-saw. The chain-saw locks into position on the horse; the chain has a safety guard, one then just 'rocks' the saw up and down to cut the logs. |

on first use when tighting up the bar the nut which the eye bolt screws into came loose. the weld had broken, on inspection it was obvious that whoever had done the welding was not a proper welder and had not "burned into" both surfaces and unfortunately the nut and eye bolt are very poor quality. i had it welded locally cost £5. the eye bolt which holds the measuring bar is a different size to the tapped hole. finally i think i got what i paid for

I am getting over an operation so have not been able to use the Saw Horse. Have unpacked it to make sure there was no damage. Will review when I've had an opporunity to use it. |
