The Eckman 2-stroke petrol leaf blower effortlessly clears leaves from flower beds, lawns, driveways and paths into a neat pile meaning you don't have to spend hours of back-breaking time raking or sweeping them up. 

Weighing just 5.8kg (less than 13lbs) and complete with adjustable shoulder strap, the trigger throttle provides fingertip control to adjust the air speed from its 17cm (6.75”) wide sweeper nozzle – from a gentle breeze to a 120mph blast, sufficient to shift even wet, stubborn leaves off the ground!

Q: Is there any assembly involved?
A: Just the blower tube and sweeper nozzle. The blower tube fits to the engine using the jubilee clip provided and sweeper nozzle hand tightens to the tube.  Assembly should not take more than a minute or two and there’s a screwdriver provided to tighten the jubilee clip

Q: What petrol and oil should I use?
A:  Use normal unleaded petrol and a quality 2-stroke oil suitable for air cooled 2-stroke petrol engines.  This can be purchased from most garden centres, DIY stores, garden equipment outlets and petrol stations

I bought the Leaf Blower to help to keep our 12th century Church clean. The path leading to the Church is lined with Conifer trees that shed dead needles which tread into the Church. The blower is brilliant even when the needles were wet, much easier and quicker than using a brush.

The blower is excellent and quite light to carry even without the shoulder strap. I was unable to use it for several weeks due to snow on the ground but once this had gone it was very effective even moving wet leaves off the lawn. Overall the value for money was excellent. The only problem i have is that the starter pull rope does not always recoil smoothly & can take several small pulls to get it to fully retract - unless I am not doing something incorrectly.
