Description
This luxury free-standing banana parasol from Eckman features a massive 3-metre diameter canopy made from extremely durable, water- and fade-resistant polyester which will provide shade over a sun lounger, hammock, dining table and chairs, or children’s play area.
Unlike traditional umbrellas where you’re stuck positioning yourself a table with centre pole, this standalone cantilever parasol gives you complete freedom to position it precisely where you need it most. Plus, it ensures there is more room on a table for plates as there is no pole going through the middle, which also obstructs your line of sight.
The Eckman Banana Parasol now comes in a choice of four great colours: antique white, forest green, jet black and french blue.

Q: How is it the Parasol does not topple over?
A: The Parasol is supplied with a strong steel base-pole and floor-base: the base pole fits into the 90cm x 90cm crucifix shaped floor resting base. It is then recommended that users rest 4 paving slabs or similar onto the base (the slabs will rest neatly on lips of the floor base - see images). All users need is paving slabs (the thickness of the slabs does not matter) to guarantee stability
Q: How easy is it to raise or lower the canopy?
A: Very easy, using the crank handle and locking mechanism supplied. Even to raise to its highest (over 2metres) takes no more than a minute
Q: Can I leave it outdoors in the raised position?
A: Yes of course, however during very strong wind the Parasol is much more likely to topple over. User discretion is recommended!
