Description

The Eckman 2-stroke petrol-powered wheeled leaf vacuum, blower and shredder features an extra wide suction head and leaf-lifter brush to put an end to hours of back-breaking work struggling to sweep, rake and pick up leaves by hand.

The Eckman multi-function leaf vacuum is specially designed to work on all types of surfaces (lawns, paths & gravel driveways) and allows you to work with ease, maximum efficiency and freedom without the contraints of a mains power lead.

Even damp leaves can be vacuumed (normally a near impossible task) due to its special, integrated “leaf-lifter” brush, plus, two large front height-adjustable rollers can be engaged for making working on grass even easier.

A flick of a switch changes vacuuming to high speed, direction adjustable blowing if you’re on gravel or want to blow leaves out of otherwise inaccessible areas.   

Once vacuumed, leaves are reduced by the machine’s powerful shredder by 70% producing excellent composting material.

Q: Is this wheeled leaf vacuum the same or similar to one I saw recently featured on the Alan Titchmarsh show? 
A: They are very similar, but there are some differences. This model is petrol-powered wheras the model featured on the program was electric. The functions of the petrol model are basically the same as the electric version except for the power unit, and of course, petrol provides much more flexibility of use than electric. Also, the brands are different; the one we're offering is from Eckman, and the one featured on the show was IKRA.

Q: Apart from being petrol powered rather than electric, are there any other advantages this Eckman model has over other petrol powered leaf vacuums?
A: One really simple but clever feature this model has, is a stiff broom mounted underneath in front of the front rollers. This has the effect of lifting up the leaves making them easier to vacuum -especially useful or even essential  if the leaves are damp. Another advantage this model has is that it can be used to clear leaves from gravel pathways when you change it to blower function. This couldn’t be more simple as all it takes is a flip of a switch.
