This extremely powerful 24-volt cylinder lawn mower from Eckman has a 30% wider cutting width (40cm / 15.75”) than other models on the market which allows you to mow up to 5000 sq.ft on a single charge (50 mins) – approximately the size of two tennis courts.

It also has an integrated roller which will leave you with a beautifully striped lawn.

There’s no messy polluting petrol or trailing mains leads and the battery can be re-charged in or out the mower.

It’s much quieter than petrol mowers, and the cutting height can be adjusted to suit every condition (1"/25mm - 2"/51mm). The large 25litre grass collector and large diameter wheels ensure fewer visits to the compost heap and easy manoeuvrability.

Additional batteries are available for larger gardens or for doing the front and back garden in one visit.

Q: What’s the difference in the cut between a rotary mower versus a cylinder mower?
A: Cylinder mowers shear the grass like scissors and deliver a more precise cut, unlike a rotary blade which tears the grass. A sheared cut yields a greener and healthier lawn. The scissor (cylinder mower) cut heals quickly and causes minimal disturbance to the natural growth pattern. The grass is cut in place, reducing the vertical height, but leaving the grass with blades of varied lengths for maximum sun exposure. There’s a good reason why cylinder mowers are the choice of golf courses.

Q: How long must I charge the battery?
A: When you first receive your mower, charge the battery for a full 24 hours using the supplied battery charger. Afterwards, charge the battery for a full 24 hours every time.  

Q: How often should I charge the battery?
A: We recommend charging the battery immediately after using your mower.

Q: How do I clean my Eckman cylinder Mower?
A: Clean the mower with a moist cloth. Spray the cutting cylinder and lower blade with a low viscosity oil, such as a spray oil. Brush away any build-up of grass or leaves on the blades.

The grassbox needs to be attched to arms of the cutter.Otherwise this machine is as good as you said it would be.I am delighted with battery operated save me time cutting the grass against the electric or petrol by a mile.

The Eckman 24-volt Lawn mower arrived by DHL undamaged and from the box assembly was easy not needing any tools. after the first charge out of the machine the mower made an effortly job of cutting the lawn though it did seem a bit noisy, the large wheels traveled effortly even though they seemed to wobbble a bit time will tell ?
