Product Information
Description
This extremely powerful 24-volt cylinder lawnmower from Eckman has a 30% wider cutting width (40cm / 15.75”) than other models on the market which allows you to mow up to 4000 sq.ft on a single charge (40 mins) – approximately the size of two tennis courts.
It also has an integrated roller which will leave you with a beautifully striped lawn.
There’s no messy polluting petrol or trailing mains leads and the battery can be re-charged in or out the mower.
It’s much quieter than petrol mowers, and the cutting height can be adjusted to suit every condition. The large 25litre grass collector and large diameter wheels ensure fewer visits to the compost heap and easy manoeuvrability.
Additional batteries are available for larger gardens or for doing the front and back garden in one visit.

- Large 25litre grass collector

- Weighs just 37 lbs/ 17kgs (with battery)
FAQs
Q: Can I download instructions for this product?
A: Yes, you can download a PDF copy of the instructions for this product by
clicking here
Q: Is there a customer service phone number I can call for assistance?
A: The Eckman Customer Service number is 0844 542 0100
Q: How long must I charge the battery?
A: When you first receive your mower, charge the battery for a full 24 hours using the supplied battery charger. Afterwards, charge the battery for a full 24 hours every time.
Q: How often should I charge the battery?
A: We recommend charging the battery immediately after using your mower.
Q - How do I adjust the cutting blade?
A - NOTE: REMOVE BATTERY FROM CASING BEFORE ADJUSTING BLADES.
This can be done by adjusting the bolts either side of the blade anticlockwise to loosen them which moves the cutting bar futher away. Turning clockwise will tighten which moves the cutting bar closer.
Q - How do I attach the lower handle?
A - On the back of the machine there will be a warning sticker. If you look along the mower towards the wheels, you should see a gap and there will be a large and a small lug. The handle attaches to the large one. Hook the left side of the handle over the left hand lug and then push on the right hand side of the handle to bring the sides together to get the right hand side over the right hand lug.
Q - The unit will not cut - any advice?
A - You need to make sure that the blades and the cutting bar are paper-width apart so that they make a scissor action.
Q - The unit is very loud/noisy - why?
A - The rotary blades may be rubbing against the cutting blade. This can be fixed by adjusting the bolts either side of the blade anticlockwise to loosen them. Rotary mowers are very noisy and this is not a reason for a replacement!
Q - The reset button keeps popping up - is it faulty?
A - Please check that the blades are adjusted correctly and the cutting hight is not too low. If the blades are not touching and the unit cuts out when running stationary on a patio then the unit is faulty and needs returning.
Q - Why won't my battery charge?
A - The battery may be being charged with the lawn mower on - it will not charge whilst the machine is on. If there is no red light showing when on charge it may be faulty and will need replacing. If the light comes on but the green lights on the mower's indicator do not the battery will need replacing.

| I like it very much. I did have some difficulty however but that was down to me. I moved a little too close to some concrete edging & bent one of the blades. I could get away with that with a rotary blade. Splendid price, action & delivery. |

| Does what it says. Takes 24 hrs to charge, a plus is it doesn't use much electricity to charge. As such a large item it is weighty. |

| PRODUCT: | |
| Unable to use machine due to wet weather but two comments: A light to show when battery is charged would help avoid over charging and the pins to adjust level of cylinder and cutting blade could have a screw head to make turning easier. May make other comments after first use. Although the manual indicates a guarantee it is not specific about the charger and does not mention that the battery is not covered. |

1) The handle, when assembled, is too narrow to fit securely on the locating bosses, and has to be bent outwards. 2) It would be advisable to stress the necessity for locking the battery retainer, as the mower can tip up and dislodge an unsecured battery. |
| Mervyn Harper, Orpington |

| Lawn mower is pretty good. Fairly simple to put together (although written instructions and pictures in manual contradict each other). It's a little noisey but it's quick (we did both our fair size front and back lawn in less than half an hour and still had half the battery life left. Only design fault seems to be that while you're trying to connect or remove the grass bag the mower handle doesn't stay upright but we can get used to that. It's weight is ok. Safety features are pretty impressive. |

The Eckman 24-volt Lawn mower arrived by DHL undamaged and from the box assembly was easy not needing any tools. after the first charge out of the machine the mower made an effortly job of cutting the lawn though it did seem a bit noisy, the large wheels traveled effortly even though they seemed to wobbble a bit time will tell ? |
| William Brooke, Telford |
| PRODUCT: | |
| First class. Would have given a 4 star rating if the cut had been a little shorter |
| Stuart Harrison, Bradford |
| PRODUCT: | |
| excellent mower, gives a very nice cut,I have cut all my lawns and there is more than enough in the battery to do them all again, nice and light making it easy to move from place to place |
| Michael Murphy, Wigan |
| PRODUCT: | |
| i get the impression that the upper handle has been manufactured at a different time to the middle and lower handles sections, it looks pre-owned, the 'plug' for the electrical cable attached to the handle was not in place and had to be fished out from behind the plastic screen and secured in place, had a bit of job getting the two height adjusters to work evenly with each other, but then charged for 24 hrs and it does what it says on the tin, cut the front and back lawns and the charge display lights so good to go again! for the money it will be a great secondary machine, i'll keep the flymo for the first cut of the season and when rain allows growth, but then it will be Eckman that will keep the grass low, and its so easy to lift out and use. |
